Vascular POCUS

Goals and Objectives

  • Understand how to do lower extremity ultrasound step by step
  • Review and know vascular anatomy of the lower extremity
  • Patient preparation for procedures
  • Evaluate a patient for DVT using compression techniques
  • Better understand how to utilize POCUS for routine procedures (indications contraindications)

Didactic Requirements

  1. Pre-Test
  2. Didactic Session (live or online)
  3. Post-Test
  4. Go the Extra Mile (available for additional understanding) – not required
