Abdominal POCUS

Goals and Objectives

  1. Identify anatomic structures most important to the RUQ, Pelvis LUQ, Pericardium, Thorax
  2. Describe the planes of view and probes most commonly used for the eFAST exam
  3. Identify most likely areas to accurate free fluid, possible causes, in a prioritized manor

Didactic Requirements

  1. Pre-Test
  2. Didactic Session (live or online)
  3. Post-Test
  4. Go the Extra Mile (available for additional understanding) – not required
